Backstage Studio Backstage STUDIO Coming soon

Print as you sell.
Scan as you pack.

Studio is the desktop app that puts a label printer and barcode scanner on your packing table. Every sale auto-prints a bin tag the second a buyer wins — so by the time the show ends, half the packing is already done.

The bottleneck after the show ends

Show ends. Now starts the hour you spend matching items to buyers by hand.

🗂️

Orders aren't sorted to buyers until after the show

During the show you're just selling — every item won lands in one undifferentiated pile. When it ends, you're matching 60 items to 40 buyers by hand, from memory and a video scroll-back.

⌨️

Typing SKUs from a screen

Pre-show, you list 50 items — typing the SKU, title, condition, and category for each. A barcode scanner would save 20 seconds an item, but nothing supports one.

📦

Squinting at handwritten tags during packing

You wrote "BIN 14" on masking tape, but it fell off. Now you're holding an item, reading three half-faded notes, trying to remember whose it is.

🧾

No labels on anything in your workspace

Bins unlabeled, items unlabeled — your prep table is a wall of "I'll remember where everything is." You won't.

Studio collapses all of that into one workflow: print, scan, ship.

What Studio actually does.

Four things Studio will do on your packing table.

01

Auto-prints a bin tag as each sale lands

Pick a mode — silent, manual queue, or confirm-each — and bin tags print as sales land. Show ends with half your items already tagged, binned, and on the packing table.

02

Barcode generation per item

Every item gets a Code128 barcode. Stick it on, then scan to pull up its draft listing, its bin assignment, or who bought it.

03

Handheld scanner support — list and pack

Plug a USB or Bluetooth scanner into your Mac. Listing: scan an item, its draft pops up. Packing: scan a sale, Studio confirms "@buyername, bin 14, lot 7."

04

BIN + item-number label printing

Three label sizes baked in — 2×1 item tags, 2×3 BIN labels, 4×6 manifest cards — each with a scannable barcode.
