Do I need an account to follow a train in Sidekick?

No. The Train tab only needs the train's tracking number. You don't sign in to Raid Train Express or Backstage to follow a train.

Where do I find the tracking number?

On the train's page on Raid Train Express, like K7M-3XQ. It isn't the Join Code; the Join Code is for signing up to ride, on Raid Train Express.

What if the lineup changes mid-train?

Sidekick keeps its copy in step with Raid Train Express while the train runs, and the Train tab refreshes about every 30 seconds while it's open.

Who is Sidekick for on a raid train?

Once a train is connected, a Raid train category appears in Sidekick’s phrase deck, with the lines that repeat at every stop:
