Selling for consignors: the basics

Consignment comes with Pro.

1. Add a consignor with their name, their cut, and a tag like "Sam's Closet". Do it in your portal or the iPad's Consignment tab.
2. Put their tag in the Whatnot title when you run their items. Pinned titles are the safest.
3. Splits add up automatically as each item sells.
4. Log what you pay them. Payouts happen outside Backstage; mark them paid so the "still owed" number stays right.

Copy and paste the tag so it's exactly the same every time. Use a distinctive tag, like their name, that won't turn up inside other words in your titles. One consignor per listing: never put two consignors' tags in one title.
