Why are my bins skipping numbers?
A gap in the bin numbers is safe. Here's why it happens.
Chrome + iPad
A skipped bin number doesn't mean a sale is lost. Every sale is still in your feed and on your manifest. Here's what causes a gap:
- A win that didn't go through. If a bin label already printed for it, that number isn't reused.
- Box capacity. With Box capacity on, a buyer whose box is full rolls into an extra box, labeled 4-2, 4-3 and so on.
- Weekly bundled shipping. A buyer on weekly bundling keeps their bin from an earlier show, so that number is still taken.
Not the same thing: giveaway-only winners and Buy It Now sales never take a bin, so they don't make gaps. See Giveaways and Buy It Now.
